Management

Carl Philipp Riedel (MSc) is the founder and managing director of AGENPA. He has extensive experience in Alternative Investments especially the agricultural and renewable energy sector with regard to business and investment appraisals, market and feasibility studies as well as project development and transaction advisory. Prior to setting up AGENPA, he was Head of Unit at LMC International Ltd. and has played a leading role in a wide range of global consultancy projects. He has also worked for ADM, a multinational agribusiness company, the European Commission and the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisations (FAO). He holds a Masters degree in International Development Management from the London School of Economics (LSE) as well as a masters degree in International Agricultural Economics from the Humboldt-University of Berlin.

 

Michael Weiss (M.Sc) is a Partner with AGENPA. He has several years of national and international transaction experience for forestry and agricultural investments with high level of client focus. Prior joining AGENPA, he was Senior Consultant at the global real estate service provider Savills. He completed a double degree Master’s programme “International Management of Forest Industries” (M.Sc.) at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and at the Bern University of Applied Sciences for Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences “Life Sciences – Applied Agricultural and Forestry” (M.Sc.). Previously, he studied Forest Engineering on Bachelor (B.Eng.) at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences.
